Air
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is one of the world’s most connected airports, offering visa-free access to nationals of ~170 countries and regions. With over 1,000 daily flights to 170+ cities — including 50+ in Mainland China — it’s easy to reach from anywhere.
From the airport to HKCEC:
- MTR: Airport Station to Hong Kong Station and switch to Wanchai Station
- Bus: Route no. A11 or E11 to Wanchai and change to route no. 40M to the HKCEC (~80 minutes)
- Taxi: ~45 minutes

Rideshare, taxis & drop-off
Taxis, Uber, and HKTaxi are widely available in Hong Kong.
HKCEC has designated drop-off points for easy access:
From the airport to HKCEC:
- Harbour Road Entrance – Main access for visitors arriving by taxi or ride-hailing. Located near the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
- Expo Drive Entrance – Suitable for exhibitors and logistics drop-off. Close to the Expo Galleria and the new wing of the convention center.
- Expo Galleria Entrance / Drop-off Zone – Ideal for private vehicles. Connects directly to the Expo Galleria, providing convenient indoor access to the venue.

Train
If you’re arriving via West Kowloon Station (high-speed rail):
- MTR: Walk from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Austin Station, switch to East Rail Line at Hung Hom Station to Exhibition Centre Station (~35 mins)

Public transportation
HKCEC is easily accessible via Hong Kong’s efficient transit system:
- MTR: Wan Chai Station (Exit A5) or Exhibition Centre Station (Exit B3) are both within a 10-minute walk
- Bus & Tram: Numerous routes stop nearby, including Hong Kong’s iconic trams
- From Tsim Sha Tsui (Ferry Terminal):
- MTR to Wan Chai Station (~15 minutes)
- Taxi (~30 minutes)
