Ashu Swami is the Chief Technology Officer at MARA and has a background in chip design, trading, and blockchain infrastructure. At MARA, he brings deep technical, regulatory, and market expertise.
Previously, he was Chief Product Officer at Core Scientific, leading DeFi initiatives and mining optimization. He also served as CTO at Apifiny, a hybrid CEX/DEX exchange, and ran Mining Rent under Quadeye Securities, where he developed mining swaps and advised companies like Intel on blockchain strategy.
Ashu founded LocalPad, a peer-to-peer marketplace platform, and earlier led high-frequency ETF market making at Morgan Stanley. He began his career at Intel as a senior component designer.
He holds multiple patents in electronics and FinTech, an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Management, and a BTech in computer science from IIT Bombay.
