I initially became interested in Bitcoin as a cross-border payment method, but was quickly enchanted by the trustless & permissionless ethos. My professional life since has revolved around Bitcoin, mainly research writing and experimental development, particularly related to the Lightning Network. Having cofounded Japan Bitcoin Industry Inc. in 2024, I am currently focused on promoting Bitcoin adoption not as an investment asset, but as an actual currency.
