Kiseok Kim

Kiseok Kim, widely known as KK, is Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Bitplanet, where he leads corporate strategy, capital markets initiatives, and the development of sustainable operating businesses aligned with Bitplanet’s digital asset strategy. With nearly 30 years of experience in traditional finance, KK is now focused on advancing NewFi, the convergence of TradFi, fintech, blockchain, and AI, through a career spanning J.P. Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, ANZ, CROWDY, and Bitplanet. A defining chapter of KK’s career was his more than 10 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as Managing Director, Korea Branch Manager, and Head of Global Markets for Korea. He was also a member of the firm’s Asia Pacific Global Markets Leadership Committee. KK began his career at J.P. Morgan in Seoul and Hong Kong, working across investment banking, debt capital markets, emerging markets sales, trading, and research. KK later served as CEO of Korea and Head of Global Markets and Coverage at ANZ, overseeing the firm’s Korean operations. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of CROWDY and a Board Member of JB Financial Group.
