I got involved with bitcoin after I left my job in traditional finance working as a quant at JPMorgan. The 2008 financial crisis convinced me that traditional finance was at a dead end, and that fundamental new thinking was needed. By 2013, I became convinced that this would not come out of traditional finance so I jumped into the world of crypto and never looked back. Since I got into crypto the world has gotten worse and worse and I think we are near the point where the old system is going to completely fall apart.
